Pep Gaffe is a collective of enthusiasts who are bound to devote their lives to the grand idea of developing music community and aspire to create a platform for sterling interaction between artists and cultural operators.

Seriously, though, we kickstart the imprint with a record from Sztvo - the cordial collaboration between Tofudj and Acid Jordan, whose solo stuff is also worth your time, covering various grounds with a gentle touch of bittersweet self-irony. We did not dare to do the review since we are obviously biased, so we handed it the Kyiv musicologist and critic Anton Shmargovich who, after a thoughtful audition, kindly wrote a couple of lines for you.

“The four tracks on the debut vinyl of the Kyiv project Sztvo is built at the elusive junction of minimal techno, leftfield house, and IDM. It could (not) be easily described by the current set of genres, whether it is a rumbling scrolling electro, dwelling inside the ambient loops or a restrained deep-tech walkthrough. It is not only the exciting groove sketches that it promises to the listener, but also some intimacy on the dance floor…
Recommended to all visitors of digital libraries, frozen in a dream state of a sweet dance cramp.”
